a full flower behind him, the reverse with a similar image but of an
Oriental with a peony bush, the cover with the Jacobite motif.

The full Tudor rose represents the Old Pretender, James Francis Edward Stuart, the son of the deposed English king James II, while the bud represents the Young Pretender, Charles Edward Stuart, popularly called Bonnie Prince Charlie.
